Diani has a few shopping centers to choose from:

Diani Shopping Center is a couple of blocks north of Simba apartment complex. There is a fruit and veggie stand at the far left of the building with organic produce and freshly squeezed juices. Muthaiga mini market has been around for many years and has been supported by residents. It is a medium sized grocery store. Diani beach art gallery is on the top left and is highly recommended if you are an art collector. They have on display one of the finest art selections in Kenya. Kikoy.com is a store that sells lovely clothing made out of kikoy. The eye centre shop has glasses and some knick knacks and proceeds go to the Eye Centre Charity. There is usually an eye doctor here on Tuesday afternoons. Glory car rental agency is also located here.

Nakumatt Diani is at the Ukunda – Diani T junction. It is the equivalent of UK’s Tescos. Here you can also find a couple of phone shops (Orange and Safaricom) upstairs, a pharmacy and a café.

Baharini Plaza is couple of blocks south of Simba. It houses Chandarana supermarket that sells fabulous cheeses and wines as well as the normal supermarket goods. There is a Fruit and vegetable stall open long hours. DM Tours can also be found here offering various safari packages. There are also several clothes shops, Havana restaurant, a pharmacy, bank and an ATM. On the other side of the road you find Kokkos restaurant and the Japanese/Korean restaurant.

Shree’s is next to Baharini Plaza. It has the best selection of fruits and veggies. There is also DeeDees restaurant and an internet café that also does printing.
