  • "Forty Thieves" is a popular and casual beach bar located right on the beach. Here you can sip cocktails with your toes in the sand and dive into the Indian ocean to cool off.

  • "Bidi Badu Beach Bar" is colourful and definitely has character and flair. Here you will meet regular, international and mixed people.

  • "Swahili Beach Bar" is at a beautiful resort and, although a little expensive, it's worth checking out.

  • "Lymingtons on the beach" is where to meet your local Diani friends. Primarily a kite surfing hang-out, it is also popular with drinkers and diners. Dave, the owner of the Lymingtons, is always friendly and has his business very well under control.

  • "Nomads Beach Bar". A higher end but relaxed beach bar.
